What About My Guardian Glass Sliding Patio Doors? -- Since the early 1960's an AAMA Certification designates a third party window, door or skylight performance rating program that provided manufacturers with the means to independently demonstrate product performance to their customers. The program went on to raise the bar even higher by earning ANSI accreditation (now known as ANAB) in the early 1970'S. The AAMA Certification Label you find tells you that a sample of the product has been verified as conforming to the standards’ requirements through an independent lab testing and an on site inspection of the manufacturer’s production line.
